Housing costs vary depending on the university and the area where the student will enroll. On average, students need between $300 and $400 to cover all expenses, including rent, bills, and personal expenses.
Diploma equivalency involves recognizing and registering the high school diploma with the Turkish Directorate of Education to enable university enrollment. FREE ADMISSION has a specialized team to assist students with equivalency procedures at no profit (only translation, notarization, and adjustment costs apply).
To obtain a visa, the student must first receive a preliminary acceptance from the university and then pay the first installment of the annual tuition to receive the final acceptance. The university then sends an invitation letter to the Turkish embassy in the student’s city of residence.
If the student is enrolling in an English-taught program, learning Turkish is not required for interactions within the university. However, for daily life and integration into Turkish society, it’s highly recommended to learn at least a beginner level of Turkish. FREE ADMISSION offers the first level of Turkish language free of charge to all students.
